While employed at Aguirre Roden Building Systems Mr. Morgan led the preconstruction team, and Mr. Kellogg was a Senior Project Manager and were the leaders of the the team that completed the Winstar World Casino project for the Chickasaw Nation.
This project consisted of adding approximately 350,000 Square feet of space including gaming floor, multiple restaurants, meeting space and extensive back of house operations areas. Mr. Morgan worked closely with the owner and design teams during the planning stages to insure the project maintained the budget constraints that had been placed on the project and was able to insure that the project was brought in under budget.
As part of the project extensive Site work was required to bring in additional soils as well as new utilities for all services including electric, water, sewer and drainage. Also included in the project was the addition of a new cooling tower for HVAC. The project required major coordination with the owner’s installers of security, and FF&E. Some of the many revisions dealt with were changing from a spring structure to a Pre-engineered building which reduced time by approximately 2 months, additionally originally the plan was to have all wiring done in floor boxes, by changing to a raised floor and spiderbox layout, we provided a way the owner could easily rearrange the space.
