Description
The Towneplace Suites, South Austin is located just south of Downtown Austin in a large planned development including retail, restaurants and a theatre. Having recently successfully completed two projects for the same owner when a GC went bankrupt the owners chose to use LnG Builders to take on this difficult project that had stalled in permitting process. We took over the project from the expediter and was able in a span of a few months to resolve the outstanding permit issues and offsite issues with the developer and start work within with a site permit quickly. The project includes major offsite utilities and watershed retention as well as ADA designs being coordinated into the overall development. The project broke ground in July 2018 with an expected opening of September 2019.
